Few businesses can afford to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week however with the advent of 24 hour banking, 24 hour supermarkets etc. clients expect longer and longer opening hours to suit their busy lives. Our Time of Day routing module is a simple service that allows you to redirect your inbound calls depending on the time of day or day of week.

A simple routing plan would look up the time of day / day of week that the call is received and send the call straight to your designated routing for that time; you may require all inbound calls received between 8 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday to go to your main office; calls received between 6 pm and 10 pm may need sending to an out of hours call handling service and calls at all other times can be sent to voicemail.

You can enhance the service by greeting callers with a personalised pre-connection message, you can combine 'time of day' with 'auto attendant' to route the caller to their preferred department and provide a voicemail facility for those calls you can't answer.

Further enhanced options includes 'hunt groups', 'geographic routing' and 'ratio routing' plans.
