Premium Rate SMS

For campaigns or projects that require an instant customer billing channel, Premium short codes are the perfect solution. You may have heard of this as 'Micro-billing', 'Reverse-Billing' or even 'MT Billing' - all meaning the same thing. Using this method, customers are charged the premium rate on top of their standard SMS network charge. Full details are shown on the customers bill so there is no conflict or confusion. As the campaign owner, you then receive a percentage of the premium charge as revenue back to you from the mobile network. How much percentage varies depending on whether you choose premium rates of £5.00, £3.00, £1.50, £1.00 , 50p or 25p per message.

Prior to Diva accepting an order for premium rate SMS we ask that you visit the Premium Rate Regulators site which you will find at www.phonepayplus.org.uk; familiarise yourself with the code of practise and register as a service provider. There is no charge to register as a service provider though some services require prior permission which is chargeable. We can build bespoke platforms that are fully compliant with PhonePayPlus regulations as detailed in the 11th Code. Examples being Chat and Psychic services.
