National Pet Month - Q&A with Our Sponsor Dogs
It’s National Pet Month and just as your pets are a part of your family, our two sponsor dogs, Stanley and Jake are just as much a part of the Diva family.
So to celebrate our two favourite pups we thought we’d give them their time in the limelight with a Q&A.
Tell us something that would surprise us.
Stanley: My centre parting is natural – even though the groomers do help to keep it looking top notch.
Jake: Despite losing my eyesight I’ve recently picked up some new tricks – I can now ‘ask’ and spin!
What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever received from Diva staff?
Stanley: Well I’ve got to say the best gift was the chewable dinosaur we got as part of our Christmas gift box from Diva Telecoms staff. It didn’t last too long in the yard, but it was fun all the same!
Jake: It’s got to be the doggy chocolate we were treated to at Christmas – there is one thing I love more than playing… and that’s food!
Have you ever had a nickname?
Stanley: I get called Stan the Man.
Jake: Mine is Jiggly Jake – because my tails wags so much.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Stanley: There’s nothing quite like a big splash in a puddle and getting really muddy. I hear the Diva team are taking part in Tough Mudder this year… they must have got the idea from me!
Jake: Searching for treats! My eyesight isn’t what it used to be but I definitely can sniff out the treats even if I can’t see them.
What motivates you?
Stanley: Knowing that after a groom (which I’m not so keen on) I can get out and about again hunting for some water to swim through.
Jake: I’d say squeaky toys – the more I get my paws on the better!
So there you have it, an insight into our two pawwwfect sponsor dogs! As Stanley and Jake mentioned Diva, have been supporting Dogs Trust Leeds in many ways from our Christmas gift box, our ongoing charity snack box in the office and two of our team are currently fundraising for Tough Mudder in July – find out more here.
If you’d like to treat Stanley and Jake and the rest of the lovely dogs at Dogs Trust you can do so here.
