Diva Gets Shortlisted for TWO Marketing Awards!

When we embarked on our Gigabit journey back in 2016, when CityFibre chose us as their launch partner, we would never have guessed that it would lead us down this path. We’re thrilled because our hard work and passion paid off – we’ve just received the news that we’ve been shortlisted for – not one – but TWO awards: Reseller Best Marketing Campaign and Best PR, and we can’t quite believe it!


To say that we’re thrilled just wouldn’t do it justice! We’re over the moon and very humbled to be finalists – can you image how we’ll react if we’re lucky enough to win, as we are up against some the best names in telecoms!


A Little Bit of Background


Fully supported by KCOM, the Comms Dealer Sales & Marketing Awards,  are aimed at giving tech-based businesses the chance to acknowledge the skill, determination and success of their sales and marketing teams as a unit and to celebrate group efforts. 


Which campaign are we talking about?


Well, that would be our Gigabit City Leeds Campaign of course! It’s no secret that we are incredibly proud of this particular Diva product launch, led by Alex Lawler, our talented Marketing Manager with amazing text written by freelance copywriter Lizzie Wood and support from Aimee Crossland who joined Diva Telecom’s marketing team back in September 2017.


Together, they rolled out a multi-touch Gigabit Fibre campaign bringing together their combined skills to inject personality into the Business Broadband category and challenging the misperception that B2B brands are ‘stiff’ by establishing a fresh, conversational and transparent tone of voice. 


Gigabit City Leeds Campaign Highlights


Because sharing is caring – and we wouldn’t be anywhere without your support – we thought you’d like to see some of our campaign’s best bits:


•         Branding: It all started with a visual. Our uniquely sourced Planet Leeds  imagery set the tone for Gigabit City Leeds’ brand look and feel – this style has since been adopted for other cities too.


•         Mini Diva: Surely you all know about this? We wrapped a Mini Cooper with our iconic Gigabit City Leeds branding and took it on a tour around Leeds, our popular Mini still takes to the streets today. We even went a step further and created our Mini its own twitter account and social media personality.


•         Website: A lot of work went into this. This became our pride and joy. Not only did the team build an entire Gigabit City Leeds hub, they also redesigned the download section and added regular Gigabit City Leeds content to ensure our customers get all the information they may need.
