Meet the experts – Darren Mitchell

Allow us to introduce to you our new Senior Account Manager Darren Mitchell, who joined the Diva Telecom team today. With over nine years of telecoms experience under his belt, Darren brings a wealth of expertise including call and lines, mobile, inbound and traditional PBX. Darren will be helping UK and International businesses achieve improved customer service and business growth.

As is tradition at Diva Telecom, we did a quick round of questions to get to know Darren a little bit better and here is what we found out:

What is your personal philosophy?

Always do more than what is required of you.
Customers are valuable so treat them that way.

What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

I’ve had quite a few random roles over the years, but the one that springs to mind in terms of weirdest, is working at a factory putting lipsticks in their cases.

Tell us something surprising.

I can turn tomatoes into Swans! I was a qualified chef having worked my way up from glass collecting to running a kitchen at the age of 17. One highlight during my career as a chef was putting on a massive buffet for Featherstone Rovers. I still love cooking at home and I’m particularly proud of my Sunday Roasts.

Where is your favourite place to be?

It would have to be on a roadtrip.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

A crime scene investigator.

What three words would you use to describe yourself?

Focused, motivated & I like a challenge!
