Jackie Killiard: 5 years. 5 highlights.

Today we’re celebrating our Sales Manager, Jackie Killiard’s 5-year anniversary at Diva Telecom!

An asset to the team, Jackie has gone from strength to strength since joining us on 6th January 2014 – even winning our Abacus Award at our staff 2018 Christmas party for her reliability, support and for always being there to count on.

We don’t know what we’d do without her!

Before celebrations could get underway we did have one more ask of her… to pinpoint 5 highlights over her 5 years at Diva Telecom – and in true Jackie spirit, she got straight to it!

So, what did she pick?

2014: <London Olympia’s Contact Centre Expo>

I met some fabulous people and future clients. Everyone attending seemed ready to talk about their telecom needs, which meant I was able to solve their current problems. The Diva stand also ended up being the talk of the exhibition with everyone taking the time to comment on how fantastic it looked. It was the first major trade show Diva exhibited at and was a huge success.

2015: <Working with Schools across Yorkshire & the North East>

A perfect example of hard work and passion paying off. We worked closely with schools all over Yorkshire and the North East and received some really lovely testimonials as a result. Since the education sector is one of my personal favorites, hearing all their positive feedback was greatly appreciated.

2016: <Becoming the launch partner for CityFibre>

When Diva Telecom achieved launch partner status for CityFibre, we became pivotal in the unveiling of Leeds as a Gigabit City and connected our first Gigabit Fibre customer with pride on the very day the network went live in August 2016.

2017: <Winning the Connected Britain Award at Next Gen Digital>

I attended the awards night with Diva’s Marketing Manager, Alex, and we were both stunned and smiling like Cheshire cats when they announced that Diva Telecom had won the national ‘Connected Britain’ award for our Eltofts Gigabit Fibre project – I seriously could not feel prouder of the whole Diva team who helped make it happen. A night to remember.

2018: <Tough Mudder Fundraiser>

Even though it was my nominated stand-in (my daughter Rhianna) who took part on my behalf with the other Diva colleagues, the event raised over £500 for our sponsored charity, Leeds Dogs Trust and was a day full of laughter.
