Welcome to Lyndsey Smith’s Lightening Round!

In honour of Lyndsey’s 3-year anniversary as Diva Telecom’s Operations Manager, we decided it was time to expose her to one of our lightening rounds… Ready to get to know her just that little bit better?


Here it goes…


What are your Diva highlights from the last 3 years?


1.      Watching the company grow and evolve.


2.      Moving to much bigger and much nicer offices.


3.      Becoming CityFibre’s Gigabit City Leeds launch partners.


 


What does a typical day at Diva look like for you?


I don’t really have a typical day! That’s what makes my job so interesting. Each day is different. Some much more challenging than others!!! 


Tell us something surprising


I have just started piano lessons at the grand old age of 32. Something I always wanted to do, but never got round to. 


What is your personal philosophy?


What goes around comes around. Be kind to people, you never know when they might pop up again in the future! 


Where is your favorite place to be?


Dancing in the living room with my 18 month old daughter. 


What has been the most important innovation you have witnessed in your lifetime? 


Mobile phones without a doubt. Seeing them go from devices that could only call and text in my teenage years to being the majority of people’s most important possession because they can do almost anything from it. Amazing really in a relatively short time span.


If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?


Police detective – I’m quite good at solving mysteries!
