Diva’s Tough Mudder for Dogs Trust
On behalf of Leeds Dogs Trust, Diva Telecom’s partnering dog welfare charity, two of our brave team members took on the beast that is Tough Mudder on Saturday 28th at Broughton Hall, Skipton.
So… how did they get on?
Well firstly, we’re proud to report that they survived! Aimee, our Marketing Executive, and Rachel, our Junior Web Developer, did a fantastic job raising over £500 for Dogs Trust, showcasing their dedication to both the charity and our two sponsored dogs, Jake and Stanley.

The Day in Detail
For those not quite familiar with what Tough Mudder entails, the organisers themselves describe it as, “Five miles of mud and epic obstacles specifically designed to test your teamwork and toughness”. Sounds like our two dogs would’ve had a ball, but how did our teammates find it?
“What a day! Practicing for Tough Mudder was hard enough – doing it? Totally different! The months leading up to it meant a strict diet and plenty of training, thankfully it paid off and despite being like nothing I’ve ever done before, shows just where determination and teamwork can take you. Rachel and I completed the course together and had a fantastic, if not a little muddy, day out!” – Aimee Crossland
It’s safe to say that fundraising really stepped up a notch for Diva Telecom at the weekend. We’re talking 13 obstacles which included crawling through mud under barbed wire, scaling 10ft walls and wading through a 10ft crater of mud - their hardest challenge yet by miles (5, to be exact)! Check out more of the obstacles they faced here.
“Tough Mudder certainly wasn’t easy, but we’re all really committed to helping Leeds Dog Trust and I’m really proud of what Aimee and I achieved. It was well worth the effort! We’ve received so much support from the rest of the Diva Telecom team, bringing us all even closer, and our lovely customers along with members of the public have been really kind with donations. It means the world to charities like Dogs Trust and it’s never too late to help!” – Rachel Skelton
